It ended up being a gorgeous fall day, so at least Wyatt could somewhat run around outside (although not too far) while pre-ceremony pictures were being taken. When the wedding started, I walked Wyatt down the aisle, and bribed him with peppermint candies to sit quietly. Which KIND of worked, until it was time for me to go up and do a reading. I was worried about what he would do, and while I was at the front I kept hearing, "No! Come back!" along with lots of "Shhhhhhhhh!" (from Daddy). :-/ Other than that, it all went on without a hitch, and I was a bit relieved when it was all over (because keeping a three year old quiet at a wedding, ahem...MY three year old...is kind of stressful, and I was looking forward to the reception!).
Wyatt had refused to take a nap the day before the wedding and had been up late at the rehearsal dinner...and obviously couldn't nap the day of the wedding, so we had a very tired ring bearer on our hands. And we spent a good portion of it tag-teaming to avoid melt-downs. But we managed to have a great time anyway, and here are some pictures to prove it! Enjoy!
